Liskow, Myrl Ione (28 April 1903 - 27 May 1951)
Mrs. Otto Liskow, 48, of 178 South Oak Street, died at the Wisconsin General Hospital at Madison on Sunday afternoon.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from St. John’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Alfred Schewe officiating. Interment will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Liskow, nee Myrl Ione Braun, was born on April 28, 1903 at Owen. She was a lifelong resident of Clark County. She received her education in the elementary schools here and attended Taylor County Normal at Medford. She taught school for approximately ten years. On November 14, 1927 she was married to Otto Liskow at Neilslville. They resided on the Liskow farm in the Town of Levis until 1939 when they moved to the city. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and a member of the Ladies Aid.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Joan, at home, her mother, Mrs. Otto Braun, of Westboro, one brother, Donald Braun of Westboro, two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Alyce) Grittner of Westboro, and Mrs. Walter Scesniak of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her father preceded her in death in 1949.
