The West Side Homemakers will meet next Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Emma Hium. Members will make Christmas decorations.

Mothers’ Day supper guests at the Kenneth Verhulst home were their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Verhulst and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Resch of Marshfield, and Jerry Verhulst of Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Plunkett and family of Chippewa Falls spent Mother’s Day with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett.

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Horn and son of La Crosse were weekend guests at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Horn. Mrs. Horn attended the Mother-Daughter banquet at Immanuel Church Saturday evening.

The Esther Circle of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will meet this (Thursday) afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Aage Nielsen.

Relatives and friends helped Mrs. Anna Elmer celebrate her 80th birthday Sunday. Those who came from away were her two daughters, Stella of Milwaukee and Beatrice of Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Solberg and family of Elk Mound were guests Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Turnquist.

Mother’s Day guests at the Lyle Verhulst home were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Verhulst, Miss Linda Verhulst of River Falls and miss Judith Verhulst, who attends Wartburg College at Waverly, Ia.

Mrs. Amy Lemley of West Bend and Mrs. Donald Armstrong of Abbotsford, former Greenwood residents, visited Friday at the home of Mrs. Helen Behrens.

Dinner guests Sunday at the Delmain Toburen home were their parents Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dillenbeck and family and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Toburen; also Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Henchen and daughter, Susan.

Donald Speich of Eau Claire spent Mother’s Day with his mother, Mrs. Jake Speich.

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Abel were weekend guests in Green Bay at the home of their daughter Miss Janis Bosar.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hendrickson of Wonewoc were guests Sunday at the home of his pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hendrickson.

Mrs. Beverly Strebig and daughter, Kimberly, returned to Chippewa Falls Sunday after visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Krause.

Mrs. Tom Behrens, Mrs. Hazel Helwig and Mrs. Helen Behrens visited in Marshfield Wednesday.
