Saturday afternoon at two o’clock funeral services were conducted from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) by Rev. Smith, for John Cieslik, age 18, who passed away at his home in the Town of Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.) a week ago yesterday, Wednesday, Jan. 12, 1949.

Pallbearers at the service were: Randall Ryll, Andrew Mattson, Jr., Richard Haselow, Jerry Bredlau, Paul Cline and Henry Wajner. Flower girls were: Dora and Donna Mae Ackermann and Marilyn Ward.

John Cieslik was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cieslik, Sr., whose address is route 1, Owen. He had been in failing health for a long time and although all in the way of medical attention had been done for him there was no hope for his recovery. A fine large chap, he is now comforted with relief of his suffering and the blessings of eternal life.
