Former Colbyite Dies

Mrs. Theo Lueloff received word that Clarence Marquardt formerly of this community, died January 26 at a Glendale, Calif., hospital after suffering a stroke on January 10. He was born in the town of Green Grove and spent most of his life on a farm in that town. He was the son of Emma Marquardt and the late Charles Marquardt. He never married. In September, 1946, the family moved to Glendale, Calif., where they made their home.

Clarence is survived by his mother, Mrs. Charles Marquardt, a sister, Mrs. Ed (Mildred) Krauss, and a niece, Karen Krauss, all of Glendale. His father died on August 14, 1952.
