Burnett, Erwin Robert (12 May 1886 - 17 Feb. 1962)

Erwin Robert Burnett of Unity, Wisconsin died Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the age of 75 years in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Trinity Lutheran church in Unity, Rev. Robert Langseth officiating, and internment was made in the Colby Memorial cemetery (Colby, Wisconsin).

Mr. Burnett was born on May 12, 1886, in the town of Unity and was educated in the Unity schools. He married the former Matilda R. Martens in the town of Unity on October 17, 1910. After their marriage, they purchased a farm in the town of Brighton and lived there until their retirement in 1957 when they moved to the village of Unity, Wis. Mr. Burnett was a member of Trinity Lutheran church.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Emory (Pearl) Schulz of Rock Island, Ill.; two grand children and a sister, Mrs. B. (Mabelle) Hamm of Cambridge, Mass. A brother and three sisters preceded him in death.
