Kovatch, Jasper (6 Jan. 1881 - 19 Feb. 1962)
Jasper Kovatch of Abbotsford, Wisconsin died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Monday at 12:35 A.M. Funeral services were held this Thursday morning at St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford, Rev. F. Schuh of Dorchester officiating, and internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Mr. Kovatch was born on January 6, 1881, in Hungary. He married the former Siphia Klettner in Canada and came to the United States in 1915. They settled on a farm west of Abbotsford where they lived until they retired in 1941 and moved to Abbotsford, Wis.
Surviving are a stepson, Joseph Klettner of Chicago; three grand children and a brother, Steve Kovatch of Catawba. A sister and a brother preceded him in death.
