Edna Hembre of Schilling spent the past week with Gertrude Davey.

A number of young people helped Frank Parkel celebrate his birthday Thursday evening. The evening was spent in dancing. A delicious lunch was served at midnight. All went home happy, wishing Frank many more such happy birthdays.

Al Flagg is the proud owner of twin calves.

Mrs. Martha Dillenbeck of Janesville came Thursday for a short visit with her son Roger and family.

The Social Circle met at S.B. Flagg's. it was a surprise on Stryker. The evening was spent in cinch. At midnight a regular feast was served, which all seemed to enjoy, especially some young men couldn't get enough on common plates, so used extra-large pie plates. Now what do you think of that? Well, let me tel you what, some of them ate so much cake that it was impossible to button their overcoats. Well it's a good thing the people in that social circle can see and take a joke, but we wonder how many felt like joking the next day.

Edna Hembre and Gertrude Davey called on Mrs. Fred Huntzicker Tuesday p.m.

Mrs. P. Susa spent Thursday p.m. with her sister, Mrs. O. Schuld.

Mr. and Mrs. C. Hatton, Carl Davey, S.B. Flagg and Mrs. Ross and children Pearl, Laird and Frances spent Tuesday evening at E. Rohde's.

Edna Hembre and Gertrude Davey spent Sunday p.m. at F. Meyers'.

Gosh, didn't the county board give the farmers a whollop, when they passed the law that the farmers and country halls could only have one dance a month.

Gertrude and Carl Davey and Edna Hembre spent Friday evening at Earl Rohde's.
