Miss Delia Poppe, daughter of Mrs. Maude Poppe, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Frederick Schneider, son of Mrs. Emma Schneider of Colby, Wisconsin were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon at two o’clock. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride’s mother in Withee with the Rev. Mr. Irish officiating.
Attending the couple were the bride’s sister, Miss Opal Poppe and Clifford Empey, nephew of the groom.
The bride wore a blue grey gabardine suit with white accessories. Her shoulder corsage consisted of sweetheart roses and sweet peas.
The maid of honor wore a grey gabardine suit and complemented with white hat and grey accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of red roses and sweet peas.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother. In the evening, a dance was given at Walter’s Pavilion in Colby, Wis.
Following a honeymoon in Chicago and Milwaukee, the couple will reside in Owen where the groom is employed by the Northern States Power, Co.
