All are
pleased to learn that the little son of Mr. and Mrs. VanHorn is well again.
Moonshine and Card parties seem to be the order of things in this vicinity
from all appearance.
Mr. Gore had a load of cattle shipped in here last
Friday for his farm in Seif.
Those who had dental work done in Greenwood
last week were Frank VanHorn, Stanley Szeriko and Jerome Stremikis.
Mrs.
Loy and Mrs. Bigelow called on Ted Schwamb last week to see how he was getting
along. He cut his foot quite badly with the ax, making it necessary for him to
lay up for a few weeks.
Rose Meredith made a business trip to Greenwood
last Wednesday.
Stanley Szeriko hleped Peter Larson get wood last week.
Joe Tiecer called at the Dean home Friday night.
We are informed that
the mill at Tioga is getting part of the Willard grinding to do.
Miss
Tubbs is getting good results from her radio, as she has been able to get New
Orleans, Colorado, Chicago, Stevens Point and many other stations.
Mr.
Smith, Tom and George Podrovitz, Joe Tiecer, Stanley Szeriko, Leo Greening and
Jerome Stremikis spent Saturday evening with Pete Larson.
F.E. Dean and
family and Miss Tubbs spent Sunday with C.J. Bigelow and family.
