G.P. Campbell spent the weekend visiting relatives and also his grandfather who
is very sick at Augusta.
Mr. A. Gartland spent Sunday evening at H.
Quast's.
H. Quast was a business caller in Greenwood between trains last
Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Neuman spent Friday evening at Campbell's.
Miss Naomi Emberson spent the weekend visiting home folks at Greenwood.
Miss Vida Pettis spent the weekend with home folks at Fairchild.
Mr.
A. Gartland called at Schmidt's Saturday p.m.
Mrs. Everett Baldwin, who
is visiting at her people at Decatur, Ill., underwent a very serious operation
for appendicitis last week, at last reports was gaining nicely, which will be
good news to her friends here.
Mr. A. Gartland had dental work done at
Greenwood Monday between trains.
Rudy Jordan has returned home from the
city where he had been employed.
School closed Monday for a one half day
holiday for Washington's Birthday.
The party which was held at the hall
Tuesday evening was well attended. Everybody reports a fine time.
Quite a
few were Greenwood callers last week.
The North Side young folks had a
party last week on Tuesday.
Mrs. Bill Zimmerman has come to visit her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Prebil.
Miss Carrie Gadec and her sister Mrs.
Richter and children from Virginia, Minn. arrived home Friday for a visit with
home folks.
Frank Arko of Gorman called at Zallar's Friday and Sunday.
The Hall members are busy hauling ice for their summer use.
