Miss Gloria Wolfram, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur wolfram, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Norman Earl Erickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornel Erickson, Curtiss, Friday, July 8th, 1949.

The eight o’clock candlelight service took place in the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Curtiss, with the Rev. W. L. Anderson of Rosholt officiating.

Mrs. Howard Erickson, Colorado Springs, was matron of honor and Miss Carol Erickson, sister of the groom, and Miss Virginia Awe were bridesmaids. Mrs. Erickson was attired in a pale orchid gown of marquisette and the other bridal aides wore deep orchid marquisette gowns. They all carried bouquets of yellow daisies.

The bride wore a gown of satin. Her bodice was of nylon with lace trim and a seed pearl and lace tiara held the veil of illusion edged with lace. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses centered with an orchid.

Attending the groom were John Erickson, his cousin, and Wallace Myhre, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Richard Needham and Arthur Lokken.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the Community Hall, Owen.

Mr. and Mrs. Erickson are both graduates of the Owen High School class of ’45. Mr. Erickson is a student at Northland College, Ashland, and his wife was employed in the office of Inland Steel Container Co., Chicago, for the past two years.
