Herrmann, Hermina (13 Dec. 1882 - 26 Mar. 1962)
Mrs. Hermina Herrmann died at her home in Colby Monday at 3:45 at the age of 79 years, leukemia being the cause of her death. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon in the First United Church of Christ, Rev. Carl Serr officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby Memorial cemetery (Colby, Wisconsin).
Hermina Leichtnam was born on December 13, 1882, in the town of Mayville, Clark county. She was married in May 1904, to William Herrmann in Colby, Wis. They lived here for nine years and then the couple moved onto a farm in the town of Mayville and lived there until 1939 when Mr. Herrmann died. She resided in Colby since that time.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Ladies Aid of the First United Church of Christ.
Surviving are four sons, Harold and Eugene of Milwaukee, Alphonse of Curtiss and Ronald of Columbus; a daughter, Mrs. Bernita Herrmann of Chicago; six grand children; two brothers, Edward and Albert Leichtnam of Abbotsford, Wis.
Besides her husband, six sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
