Donald A. Crockett, 73, of Neillsville died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen after a long illness.

Donald Allen Crockett was born Sept. 9, 1935, the son of Allen and Barbara Crockett, and lived on the family farm in the Town of Washburn until he graduated from high school.

He enjoyed working on cars, the outdoors and learning new things.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Eugene Crockett, Wichita, KS, Bruce Crockett, Edmond, OK, Gilbert Crockett, Wind Lake, June Schmidt, Loyal, Edgar Crockett, Tacoma, WA, Catherine (Donald) Griesmer, Wausau, Rita (Edwin Miller) Crockett, Oklahoma City, OK, Davy Crockett, Loyal, and LeRoy Crockett, Bowling Green, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Donald were held at 11 a.m. Monday March 16, 2009, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, with visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment was in the Town of Levis Cemetery.

The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Donald’s family with funeral arrangements.
