Only members of the immediate families attended the ceremony which was officiated at by the Rev. Dr. K. O. Crosby.

The bridegroom wore a grey business suit while his attendant, Earl Johnson, wore a suit of blue.
Following the ceremony a reception was given for immediate friends of the family at the home of the bride’s parents.
