Arp, Anna (Emma?) #2 (23 SEP 1884 - 25 AUG 1949)
Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 28th from the West Beaver Church, for Mrs. Emil Arp who passed away at the Neillsville Hospital Thursday, Aug. 25th, 1949, after a short illness.
The Rev. Chapman of Neillsville conducted the services, after which interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Anna, nee Gelhaar, Arp was born in Scot Co., Iowa, Sept. 23, 1994, and came to Wisconsin in 1912 and settled in the Town of Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.) where she spent most of the rest of her life.
On Nov. 11, 1903 she was united in marriage to Emil Arp. To this union five children were born. One infant daughter and a son Leo, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Erwin Marden (Ethel) of Neillsville and Mrs. Kenneth Dyre (Leora) of Greenwood. Also surviving are two brothers, Ed Gelhaar of Carthage, Ill. and Erich Frahm of Fort Morgan, Colo., and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Arp will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives.
