Kurasz, Ronald Lee (5 April 1939 - 22 July 1951)

Ronald Lee Kurasz, age 13, of the Town of Grant died at the Wisconsin General Hospital at Madison on Sunday, July 22. He had been ill only the past two weeks. Death was due to leukemia.

The body lay in state at the Georgas Funeral Home until one o’clock Wednesday when it was taken to St. John’s Lutheran Church where services were conducted at two o’clock, with the Rev. Alfred Schewe officiating.

Ronald Lee was born April 5, 1939, at Eau Claire to Joseph and Esther Fenske Kurasz. He moved here with his family when he was two months old and has lived with his parents on the farm in the Town of Grant. He finished seventh grade this past year at the St. John’s school. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his parents, three sisters, Marjorie 11, Helen 8, Susan 6, and one brother, Stanley 4, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. August Fenske, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Martin Kurasz.
