Runzheimer, Henry F. (30 Mar. 1885 - 20 May 1962)
Henry F. Runzheimer died at his home in the town of Hull Sunday morning at the age of 77 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford, Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating, and burial was made in the Colby Memorial cemetery (Colby, Wisconsin).
Mr. Runzheimer was born on March 30, 1885, in Calumet county. He came to Colby at the age of 15 years with his parents and was married here on December 17, 1908, to Anna Wiersig who survives him. They operated a farm in the town of Hull until 1935, and, for the past 25 years, he was an insurance agent. He served on the town board in the town of Hull for approximately 15 years.
Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, Walter of Colby and Ervin of Edgar; three daughters, Mrs. Manuel (Olga) Richards of Wauwatosa, Mrs. Ervin (Anita) Weller of Marshfield and Mrs. Raymond (Lita) Ehlers of Milwaukee; 11 grand children; three sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Walther of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Amelia Becker of Milwaukee and Mrs. Emma Marks of Wauwatosa; two brothers, William of Wausau and Rufus of Chicago, Ill. Three sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held last week Wednesday afternoon for Henry F. Runzheimer, age 77, at the Christ Lutheran church in Abbotsford with the Jasperson Funeral Home at Spencer in charge. Internment was made in the Colby Memorial cemetery (Colby, Wisconsin).
Miss Dorothy Kieser and Mrs. Weldon Brown sang "Jesus, Lead Thou On" and "Abide With Me." Pall bearers were Willard Becherer, Arvin Dommer, Walter Drews, Elmer Kocian, Lester Sonnemann and Alfred Svoboda, neighbors of the deceased.
Out-of-town people here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Marks, and Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Richards of Wauwatosa, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ehlers and sons, Adrian and Ray, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Hebert Becker of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Runzheimer and children, Arlette, David and Lois, of Edgar, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Weller of Marshfield, William Runzheimer, Mrs. Robert Buettner and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Parsch, E. N. Tutt, Henry Holubitz of Wausau and Robert Ramin of Greenwood.
For the past 50 years Mr. Runzheimer actively participated in the affairs and promotion of the co-operatives in this area. He was a charter member and pioneer agent of the Mutual Services Insurance companies in the Colby, Abbotsford, Spencer and Dorchester areas.
