Well, this seems a little more as if Spring were really approaching and we surely are glad.

Mr. and Mrs. Val Jeras returned from Illinois where he had been at work in the coal mines one day this past week.

Mrs. H. Neuman had the misfortune to step on a nail and at present is nursing a sore foot.

Mr. H. Thompson has been on the sick list the past week, having had the La Grippe and tonsillitis. Mrs. Thompson has been working in the post office during his absence.

Mr. H. Quast and G. Campbell transacted business in Greenwood Wednesday p.m.

Quast & Co. received a carload of feed and flour one day last week.

Mr. and Mrs. G.I. Ingham and family of Spencer spent Sunday with the Ingham and Thompson families.

Mr. and Mrs. L. West of Loyal spent Sunday at the H. Neuman home.

G.P. Campbell spent Sunday evening at Paul Marn's.

Mr. O.A. Hiles of Greenwood was a Willard visitor Saturday.

Mr. A. Gartland had rather an exciting time last Sunday and Monday trying to get back to his school duties. He started back with his car and got within about 20 miles of Stevens Point and ran into plenty of snow and also plenty of water. Having had plenty of trouble, he reached Stevens Point, abandoned his car and finished the remainder of his trip by rail. Mrs. Campbell met him at Owen Monday a.m.

Mr. A. Debevec spent Sunday p.m. at the J. Zallar home.

Spring has surely arrived as all the small boys and some of the older ones were out trying the baseball diamond Sunday.

Mr. Wegner, A. Gartland, Arnold Clair, John Zallar Jr. drove to Greenwood Sunday evening and attending a show.
