JACK L. STEVENS DIED YESTERDAY

Former Janesville Resident and Veteran of the Civil War Passed away at Milwaukee

Jack L. Stevens, a former Janesville resident and veteran of the Civil War, succumbed to heart disease at the Soldiers’ Home in Milwaukee yesterday morning, and the remains have been brought here and placed in the vault at the cemetery. Deceased was seventy-three years of age, unmarried. Three brothers and two sisters survive him. They are Charles D. Stevens of this city, John D. Stevens of Waupaca, P. M. Stevens of Greenwood, Mrs. C. S. Kelsey and Mrs. E. S. Williams of this city.
