Nagel, Wava (1901? - 7 June 1962)
Mrs. Wava Nagel, age 61, became ill Tuesday morning, June 5 and was taken to the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where she died early Wednesday night, June 7. Mrs. Nagel, a widow, came to Colby from Chicago, Ill., last September and had been making her home with Miss Lydia Jones on N. Second street in Colby, Wis. She had been in ill health. A daughter, Mrs. Lyle Thompson, survives. Funeral services were held at Beloit Monday.
Robert Lueloff, Clark county coroner, and Pat McIntyre, Clark county undersheriff investigated the death which they said appeared to have been caused by an overdose of anacin tablets. Mr. Lueloff is awaiting results of an autopsy before making a ruling on the cause of death.
