Johnson, Lillian (26 Sept. 1941)
Evangelist Lillian Johnson, who has served the Gospel tabernacles of Owen and Milan the past four years, became the bride of Elmer Jenson, son of Mrs. Mollie Jenson, Dorchester, at Milan, Friday.
The bride chose her birthday anniversary for her wedding day. She is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. T. A. Johnson, Egeland, N.D.
The couple pledged their vows beneath a huge arch of pink and white streamers and roses, combined with white wedding bells erected over the altar of the Gospel tabernacle in Milan, in a ceremony performed at high noon. The Rev. Victor Peterson, pastor of the Shawano Gospel tabernacle, officiated.
Music for the ceremony included two solos by Mrs. Helen Cox, Virginia, Ill., and a duet sung by the Misses Esther and Lois Bloom, Owen.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin, with a lace bolero, and a double-tiered veil attached to a coronet *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
