Unger, Agnes (7 May 1864 - 14 August 1951)

Mrs. Agnes Unger, age 87, died at the home of her son, Adolph Unger, on South Grand Avenue on Tuesday evening. The body lay in state at the Georgas Funeral Home until Friday when Funeral services were conducted from the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery with the Rev. Alfred Schewe officiating. Mrs. Unger, the former Agnes Hanchman, was born on May 7, 1864, in Filmore, Washington, Co., Wisconsin. On July 7, 1887 she was married to Anton Unger at Neillsville. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid of that church. She is survived by one son, Adolph, and two grandsons. Pallbearers were Alvin Eisentraut, Otto Roessler, Tony Handke, Oscar Schoengarth, Art Berger and Paul Blum.
