Klopf, Karen (Marriage - 5 August 1951)
Miss Karen Klopf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin F. Klopf of Waupun, was married on Sunday, Aug. 5, to Lawrence D. Spaulding son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Spaulding, of Waupun. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. A. C. Klopf of Neillsville. Her father, Kelvin F. Klopf, grew up in Neillsville and is a graduate of Neillsville High School.
After a short honeymoon at Green Lake, the groom will report at Ft. Sheridan, Ill. The bride, who is a senior at the University of Wisconsin, will resume her studies. Lawrence Spaulding is a graduate of the Wisconsin State College at Oshkosh and is affiliated with Iota Alpha Sigma. The bride is a member of Theta Sigma Phi and Coronto, Women’s Journalism sororities.
