The forest fires were raging quite bad in this vicinity most of the week.

Mrs. N.E. Palms and son and Florence Palms spent one day last week with Mrs. F. Dean.

N.E. Palms returned to Owen to work on Monday.

Mr. Hiles of Greenwood delivered a car to Pete Larson Tuesday.

F.E. Dean helped Ton Sapiega saw wood Thursday and Friday.

Rose Meredith was sick and unable to be in the store a few days last week.

Florence Palms and Leo Greening spent Tuesday evening at the Bigelow home.

Allie Cole hauled hay for Pete Larson Friday.

John Richards hauled hay from Larson's last week.

The dance at the C.J. Bigelow home Saturday night was well attended, considering the weather being so bad and all present enjoyed a good time.

Mr. Bopp is visiting his nephew Frank VanHorn.

Mauris Meredith worked for Frank VanHorn a couple of days last week.
