The forest fires were raging
quite bad in this vicinity most of the week.
Mrs. N.E. Palms and son and
Florence Palms spent one day last week with Mrs. F. Dean.
N.E. Palms
returned to Owen to work on Monday.
Mr. Hiles of Greenwood delivered a
car to Pete Larson Tuesday.
F.E. Dean helped Ton Sapiega saw wood
Thursday and Friday.
Rose Meredith was sick and unable to be in the store
a few days last week.
Florence Palms and Leo Greening spent Tuesday
evening at the Bigelow home.
Allie Cole hauled hay for Pete Larson
Friday.
John Richards hauled hay from Larson's last week.
The
dance at the C.J. Bigelow home Saturday night was well attended, considering the
weather being so bad and all present enjoyed a good time.
Mr. Bopp is
visiting his nephew Frank VanHorn.
Mauris Meredith worked for Frank
VanHorn a couple of days last week.
