Oens, Harry Clyde (2 March 1886 - 6 September 1951)

Harry Clyde Oens, 65, a farmer in the Granton area for 34 years, was buried on Saturday, September 8, 1951, in the Yolo Cemetery near Chili. He died of a heart attack at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Oens, on Thursday, September 6.

Funeral services were held at the Cannonville Community Church on Saturday, September 8, with the Rev. Roy Curless of Pittsville officiating.

Mr. Oens was born in Richland Center on March 2, 1886. He was married at Chili to the former Miss Ethel Dow on November 29, 1912.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Clyde; two grandchildren; two brothers, Fred of Richland Center and George of Milwaukee; and two sisters, Mrs. Dode Ewers and Mrs. Esther Black of Richland Center.

A son and a brother preceded him in death.
