Johnson, George (1897? –29 August 1951)
George Johnson, who ran a pool hall in Neillsville for a number of years, died of a stroke at his home in Ironwood, Mich., on Wednesday, Aug. 29. He was 54.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Chris Johnson of Chippewa Falls; a sister, Miss Clara Johnson; and a brother, Gust Johnson.
Funeral services were conducted from the Norwegian Lutheran Church at Chippewa Falls on Saturday, Sept. 1. Burial was made in the family plot. Mr. Johnson left Neillsville in 1939.
