Ritter, Viola (2 FEB 1950)

Two well known young people of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), Viola Ritter and Arthur Whittemore, were united in marriage at a ceremony performed at Waukegan, Ill., by Emil Lindwahl, justice of the peace, at three o’clock on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 2nd, 1950. They returned home yesterday after enjoying a week’s honeymoon in the southern part of the state and Illinois.

Saturday evening they will receive their many friends at a party which will be given at Poppe’s Tavern, Withee.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ritter, Withee, and a graduate of the Withee school system. Up until her marriage she had been employed as a waitress at the Miru.

The bridegroom is a lifelong resident of Withee, a graduate of that school system and an employee of the Western Condensing Company.
