Radley, Betty (4 FEB 1950)
A quiet and simple wedding ceremony was performed Saturday, Feb. 4th, 1950 at Pine City, Minn. By Justice of the Peace, Walter Blanchol, when Miss Betty L. Radley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Radley, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Jack J. LaBounty, son of Mr. and Mrs. George LaBounty of Spooner, Wis.
The only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thompson of Spooner.
For her wedding, the bride chose a grey gabardine suit, with matching accessories, while the bridesmaid wore a blue wool suit, with grey accessories.
Both the groom and best man wore conventional business sits of tan and blue, respectively.
The bride attended Loyal High School, while the groom attended high school in Spooner.
A brief honeymoon was spent in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. The couple are now making their home in Owen.
