Haid, Donna (1934? - 15 March 2009)

Donna Hid, 74, died Sunday, March 15, in Myrtle Beach, SC, after a long illness.

Donna grew up in Neillsville and has many friends and family here. She attended beauty school and was a cosmetologist for many years. She had a beauty shop in Green Bay and eventually moved to Sioux City, IA, where she taught cosmetology. She married Hal Haid there and had 23 years together until his death in 1997.

Donna then moved to midway, GA, where she lived with her daughter, Debbie, until 2007. After suffering a stroke, she then moved to a nursing facility in Myrtle Beach, SC., to be near her other daughter; Lynn, and her grandchildren, where she stayed until her death.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Lynn Oelke Lanpher, and Debbie Oelke Givens; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren; her brother, Garry (Carol) Begley, Green Bay; and many Ehlers and Begley relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Begley and Evelyn Ehlers Junchen, and her husband, Hal Haid.

A memorial service will be held at a future date, where Donna and Hal will be returned to nature in the Missouri River, where they spent their happiest times.

Condolences may be sent to Debbie Givens, 207 Azalea Rd. #20, Midway GA 31320
