The Greenwood Cemetery Association held
its annual meeting at the council rooms Monday afternoon. President Charles
Varney presided.
Three directors for a term of three years were elected
as follows: Mark Smith, Mrs. John Arends and Mrs. J.S. Andrews.
After the
regular meeting the directors met and elected the following officers for the
coming year: Chas. Varney, President; Mrs. J.S. Andrews, Vice-President; Mrs.
John Arends, Secretary; Wm. F. Neuenfeldt, Treasurer.
The annual dues of
$1.50 for each lot are now due and can be paid to Mrs. John Arends.
The
association greatly appreciates the cooperation of the public in general and is
progressing nicely.
