Mr. and Mrs. Martin Richelieu of Abbotsford and
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Vater of near Withee spent Sunday at the Walter Acker home.
Rev. Arnold Borchardt and Mr. Brown drove over from Schofield Sunday, took
dinner with Stabnow's and Rev. Borchardt preached a fine sermon at the church in
the afternoon.
Mr. Langfeldt and children called at Arp's Saturday. Mrs.
Arp accompanied him home.
Mrs. Aug. Stabnow went to help clean church
Saturday but as the door was locked and on one came to help, she spent the day
with Mrs. Walter Acker.
The party given for Ethel Boehning Wednesday was
well attended. All present enjoyed the day.
Rev. and Mrs. E.M. Bickell
and daughter Vivian of Orchard, Iowa, will begin a one week Evangelistic meeting
at the church here Thursday, May 13th, at 8 o'clock. Come! You are more than
welcome. Special service Sunday.
