Steager, Evelyn (18 FEB 1950)
The Plymouth Memorial Chapel of Seattle, Wash., was the scene of a simple but pretty wedding on Saturday, Feb. 18, 1950, when Miss Evelyn Steager, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Steager of Withee (Clark Co.), Wis., became the bride of Mr. Dale Kamm, son of Mrs. A. E. Sill of Sedro Wooley, Wash.
The bride was attired in a street length, blue taffeta dress and wore a corsage of white roses. Her outfit was complemented with a white hat and white gloves.
She chose as her only attendant, a cousin, Miss Wyvona Elmendorf of Auburn, Wash.
Miss Elmendorf was attired in a street length dress of a gold shade and wore a corsage of yellow talisman roses. Her accessories were composed of a hat, gloves and shoes of cinnamon color.
Mr. Kamm was attended by his brother, Arnold Kamm of Seattle, Wash. Both men wore business suits and had white carnation boutonnieres.
Rev. Dwight Cart officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Mrs. Kamm is a graduate of the Withee High School of the class of ’46. She had been employed at the Northern Office Equipment Co. of Chippewa Falls, prior to her going to Washington.
Mr. Kamm is a contractor by profession. The young couple are now at home at Darrington, Wash., where Mr. Kamm is employed.
