Miss Betty Elizabeth Ammentorp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thorwald Ammentorp, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Robert W. Pence, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Pence, Crandon. The ceremony took place Saturday afternoon at the Danish Lutheran Church in Withee, with the Rev. Arthur Ammentorp officiating.
Attending the couple were Miss Reene Phillips and Robert McAdam.
The bride wore a navy suit accented with a corsage of white and pink roses. The bridesmaid’s suit was rose with navy accessories accented with a corsage of white roses.
A reception was held in the evening at the Withee Hall.
The bride attended school in Withee and the groom is a graduate of the Crandon schools. Following a honeymoon in Milwaukee the couple will reside in Withee, where the groom operates a services station.
Out of town guests present were Mrs. and Mrs. A. C. Pence, Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Kincide, Mr. and Mrs. L. Pence, Crandon; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ammentorp, Richard Ammentorp of Milwaukee; Vernon Ammentorp of Charleston, S. C.; Mrs. Harriet Rasmussen and daughter, Elaine and son, Earl, Randall Grant, Spring Valley; Mr. and Mrs. William Richardson of Menomonie.
