Calmes, Brittani Leigh (Marriage - December 6, 2008)
Brittani Leigh Calmes and Eric John Mertens were united in marriage on December 6, 2008, at Holy Rosary Catholic, Church, Medford, with Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating.
Music was proved by pianist Kathleen Slipek. A reception followed a the Veranda, Medford.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Vicky Calmes of Colby, Wis. The groom is the son of Kurt and Kathy Mertens of Colby, Wis. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Tiffani Calmes. Matron of honor was Amanda Oestreich. Bridesmaids were Heather Manzanares, Kimberly Bruesewitz, Cheyanne Schmitt, Alyson Swan, Kayleigh Mertens and Lyddia Calmes.
The brides personal attendant was Julie Ellenbecker.
Best man was Tenton Leiders. Groomsmen were Matthew Eggebrecht, Ryan Haubenschild, Isaac Slipek, Noah Juedes, Keith Hovland, Kevin Krejci and Eric Schorer.
Ushers were Scott Baumgartner and Brian Mertens. Flower girls were Olivia Gipp and Alexis Robotka.
Readers were Jason Mertens, Josh Mertens, and Ashley Ellenbecker.
Greeters were Emily and Bailey Ellenbecker.
The bride is employed at Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield and the groom works for Loos Machine, Inc., in Colby, Wis.
The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic. They reside in Colby, Wis.
