Ebbe, Pearl (12 August 1899 –1 October 1951)
Mrs. George Ebbe, age 52, of 219 S. Court Street, died on Monday noon at the Neillsville Hospital after an illness of several years duration. Funeral services will be conducted from the Bergemann Funeral Home on Friday at 2 o’clock. Interment will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery with the Rev. Virgil Nulton officiating.
Mrs. Ebbe, nee Pearl Orsburn, was born on August 12, 1899, to Mr. and Mrs. Orie Orsburn at Bloom City, Wis. She received her education in the Bloom City schools and has lived in Neillsville since 1917.
She was married to George Ebbe at Neillsville on August 22, 1917. Eight children were born to this union, four of whom survive. They are Calvin of California, Theodore, Pauline and Betty, all at home; also two grandchildren, and her aged father, Orie Orsburn.
Three brothers: Theodore Orsburn of Morris, Ill., Edward Orsburn and Bud Orsburn of Greenwood, and six sisters, Mrs. John (Elsie) Kuehn, Mrs. Irving (Eldora) Dow and Mrs. Lester (Dolly) Wetzel, all of Greenwood, Mrs. John (Beulah) Ormond of Neillsville, Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Morgenflash of Chicago, and Mrs. Delbert (Rosezen) Swanson of Ottawa, Ill., also survive.
Her husband preceded her in death on July 16, 1951.

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Pearl Ebbe on Friday at the Bergemann Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Nulton officiating.
Pallbearers were: Henry Becker, Francis Guest, Albert McCammant, Dr. Robert Peters, Neil Tollefson and Leonard Wachholz. Charlotte Ormond and Margaret Ewing were in charge of the floral offerings.
Mary Ann Smith sang two selections accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Helen C. Smith at the piano.
Persons from out of town attending the rites included Orie Orsburn, Mrs. Frank Bayuk, Mr. and Mrs. John Ormond, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Felix Auman, Miss Alta Dimler, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Orsburn, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Dow and son Bob, and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Buker, all of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Hobson Mitchell of Loganville, Mrs. Maude Hicks of Richland Center, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Orsburn of Bloom City, Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Orsburn of Morris, Ill., Mrs. Delbert Swanson of Ottawa, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Leo Orsburn of Elroy, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Morgenflash of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Esther Green of Merrillan, and Mrs. Herman Gandt of Marshfield.
