Humbird (20 May 1971)

Mrs. Johanna Olson, with Mrs. Allen Zimmerman of Fairchild, visited in Osseo Thursday.

Skip, Erma and Vicki Nibbe of Hobart, Ind., came early Saturday morning to spend until Sunday noon with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Dignin. Saturday afternoon the Nibbes drove to Augusta to visit at the Bob Fitzmaurice home for a few hours.

Mr. and Mrs. Levi Fitzmaurice spent Sunday afternoon at the Ray Duxbury home in rural Merrillan.

Mrs. Keith Johnson and children were dinner guests Sunday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Lightfoot. In the evening Mr. and Mrs. Jake Lightfoot, Jr., and family joined the group.

Mrs. Freida Zerbel returned Wednesday from the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Kleckner in Stevens Point and Thursday was with her daughter, Mrs. Lavern Kaufman, in rural Fairchild.

Mr. and Mrs. William Aebersold, Mrs. Emma Theiler and Mrs. Emma Gerber drove to Eau Claire Saturday to be luncheon guests of Mrs. Lena Tubbs and to attend the 7 p.m. wedding of a cousin.

Members of the Happy Hour Homemakers club enjoyed a trip to new Glarus Tuesday where they visited many points of interest, one being a fabric center and dress shop.

Mr. and Mrs. Charley Fees attended the wedding of Billy Joe Normandy Friday evening at the Little Norway Lutheran Church.
