Schuette, Walter (18 May 1895 - 30 Aug. 1962)
Walter Schuette of Unity, Rt. 1, died at the age of 67 years at 11:15 P.M. Monday in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient after suffering a heart attack Friday while fishing.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, at 2:00 P.M. in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in South Green Grove, Rev. Jerome Wohlfell officiating and internment will be made in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Schuette was born on May 18th, 1895, in Kewaunee County. At the age of 14 he came to a farm in the town of Beaver with his parents. He married Lilly Reeck on December 22, 1920, in St. Luke’s Church. The couple has resided on the Schuette home farm their entire lives. He was a member of St. Luke’s Church and a director of Hull Town Mutual Insurance Co. the past four years.
He is survived by his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Carl (Elpha) Zarnstoff of Owen; Mrs. Wayne (Irene) Olson of Curtiss; Mrs. Franklin (Blanche) Zimmermann of Loyal, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Smith of Loyal, and Mrs. Gerald (Constance) Uhlig of Sturtevant; two sons, Delbert and Eldred, both of Unity and Albert Schuette of Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Kuenker of Manitowoc and Mrs. Arnold Witt of Gilman. He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
