Heimbach, Othilda (28 Oct. 1883 - 9 Dec. 1941)
Last rites for Mrs. Othilda Heimbach who died Tuesday afternoon at three o’clock will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at 2 o’clock in the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. J. Brandt will conduct the services and internment will be made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Mrs. Heimbach was born Othilda Noeske in West Prussia on Oct. 28, 1883. She was united in marriage there March 16, 1909. After coming to America they lived in Tomahawk for three years and then came to Abbotsford where they lived the past twenty-five years. They farmed east of town and later moved to the village.
Mrs. Heimbach has been in poor health for several years and seriously ill at her home the past two weeks, where she died Tuesday afternoon.
She is survived by three sons: Alfred, John and Walter, at home; and two daughters, Mrs. George Koffarnus, of Auburndale; and Mrs. Solomon Krause, Curtiss. There is also one grandson.
A sister and three brothers in Germany also survive, as far as is known.
Her husband preceded her in death five years ago and one child at the age of three years.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Mrs. Ottilie Heimbach, 59, who died Tuesday. The Rev. John Brandt, pastor of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, had charge of the 1:30 o’clock service at the home and of the 2 o’clock church service. Internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Ingersoll, Ed Krause, H. J. Amacher, Walter Waldhardt, Walter Jackson, Charles Ziebarth. Flower girls were Elaine Daenicke, Darlene Grambort, Jean Laack and Phyllis Phaneuf. Two musical selections were rendered at the church.
Relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. George Koffarnus, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Krause, Curtiss; and Alfred, Walter and John Heimbach, Abbotsford, Wis.
