Liberty, Leah (Marriage - 19 Dec. 1941)
Miss Leah Liberty, daughter of Albert Leichtnam of Abbotsford, chose Friday, Dec. 19, her birthday anniversary, for her marriage to Casper Nab, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Nab, of Athens. Vows were exchanged in the Lutheran Parsonage at Hamburg with the Rev. Schedler officiating at four o’clock in the afternoon.
For the occasion the bride wore a street frock of teal, blue crepe with black accessories. Her only attendant was Miss Helen Lundahl who wore a wine colored velvet frock with brown accessories. They wore identical shoulder corsages of pink roses and baby’s breath.
Walter Erwin of Athens attended the groom.
After the marriage ceremony a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Nab at Athens.
The bridal couple left on a wedding trip to Plymouth and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They will be at home to their friends at Christmas in Wausau, where the groom is employed. Before her marriage the bride was also employed in Wausau.
