Wendt, Ruth Agnes (22 Sept. 1914 - 28 Mar. 2009)

Ruth Agnes Wendt, 94, of Minocqua, formerly of Owen, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, in Minocqua.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Owen. The Revs. Mark Schwinn and Chips Paulson will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in the town of Hixon.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of the service at the church.

Ruth was born September 22, 1914, to Ole and Karen (Ragnlie) Botnen in Neillsville. She married Harold A. Wendt in Greenwood Nov. 28, 1935. Ruth worked at the former Frederick Post Company now known as Teledyne in Owen.

Ruth is survived by son Randall Wendt of Minocqua, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
