Becker, Edwin Rev. (1905? - 26 Sept. 1962)

Rev. Edwin Becker, a former pastor of the First Evangelical and Reformed Church in Colby, passed away at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac early Wednesday morning. Services will be held Friday afternoon in Campbellsport where he made his home. His body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby from 10:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. Saturday, Sept. 29. A short graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. at the Colby Memorial Cemetery where internment will be made.

Rev. Becker was a graduate of Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Mo., and was ordained in the ministry on June 17, 1934. The Colby and Marshfield parishes were his first charges after which he served at Marinette and Oshkosh, and, for the past four years was pastor at Campbellsport.

His marriage took place in Colby to Henrietta Draeger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Draeger, who reside in Colby, Wis. He died at the age of 57 years. Surviving are his wife and two sons, David and Keith.
