Schoelzel, Colleen Margarette Edna (Marriage - 8 Dec. 1962)
Miss Colleen Margarette Edna Schoelzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Schoelzel, and Gregory Peter Majerus, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Majerus, all of Colby, Wisconsin were united in marriage in the First United Church of Christ Saturday afternoon, Rev. Carl Serr officiating.
"The Lord’s Prayer" and "Because" were played by Betty Ann Kasper and sung by Edward G. Wachtendonk.
Miss Joel Neuman was maid of honor and Miss Korliss Schoelzel was bridesmaid. Dale Majerus was best man and Donald Rosenloff the groomsman. Dennis Schoelzel and Kenneth Cole ushered.
The bride was attired in a dress of crepe suzette with red accessories and wore a corsage of white gardenias with red roses. Her attendants wore red wool sheath dresses with wrist corsages of red and white roses.
The reception and supper were held at Colby’s Tavern in Unity and the wedding dance was held at the Riplinger Hall. Both Mr. and Mrs. Majerus attended Colby High School. The groom is employed at the American Box Board Company in Colby, Wis.
Guests were from Waukegan, Ill., Stevens Point, Appleton, Lake Geneva, Tomahawk, Curtiss, Abbotsford, Marshfield, Spencer, Riplinger, Unity and Colby, Wis.
