Behringer, Lorinda (19 APR 1950)
The M. E. Parsonage at Neillsville was the scene of a simple marriage ceremony on Wednesday evening, April 19, 1950, at 7:00 o’clock, when Lorinda Behringer of Owen and Albert Schafer of Winneconne, were united in matrimony by the Rev. Virgil Nulton. The double ring ceremony was used.
They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Canfield, Granton. The latter is a cousin of the bride.
For her wedding, the bride chose a suit of navy blue, with a corsage of American Beauty roses. The matron of honor wore a corsage of white narcissus, while both the groom and best man wore boutonnieres of white carnations.
Following a short honeymoon in Michigan, the couple will reside in Winneconne, where the groom is employed.
