Olson, Margaret Albertine (31 May 1895 - 7 Apr. 1942)

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Delvin Olson, 46, who died unexpectedly, Tuesday morning, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Zink funeral home where the body is lying in state. Internment will be made in the Abbotsford cemetery. The Rev. Hoffman of the Evangelical Lutheran church of Medford will conduct the services.

Mrs. Olson was born Margaret Albertine Sprote, May 31, 1895, in the town of Johnson, Marathon county. She married Charles Delvin Olson in the fall of 1918 and they have made their home in or near Abbotsford ever since.

Mrs. Olson had been about her usual duties Monday, until evening, when she became very ill and at 1:30 Tuesday morning died of embolism.

At the time of her death, Mr. and Mrs. Olson were employed by Harry Knaack at Jerkwater, five miles east of Dorchester, Wis.

Surviving besides her husband are: one sister, Mrs. Fred Denzin, Town of Holton; four brothers, Henry Sprote of Milan, Alex Sprote, of Tomahawk and Dave and Edward Sprote, Chicago.

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Olson, who died early Tuesday were held Friday at 2:00 o’clock at the Zink funeral home, with the Rev. J. J. Hoffman, Medford, officiating. Burial was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

Pallbearers included Albert Nelson, Leo Banditt, Maurice Hutt, Walter Jackson, Charles Hoffman and Maurice Thompson.

In charge of the flowers were Mrs. L. K. Neitzel, Mrs. Ralph Green, Mrs. Charles Hoffman, Mrs. Walter Fults, Mrs. Martin Anderson and Mrs. John Hutt.

Among the relatives from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sprotte and family and Mr. and Mrs. David Sprotte, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Alex Sprotte, Tomahawk; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Denzin and family and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sprotte, Town of Holton; Mr. and Mrs. J. Olson and son, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Juneau and family, Chippewa Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Broeren, Medford.
