Rouse, Eunice (Marriage - 16 May 1942)
Miss Eunice Rouse, a former resident of Abbotsford, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rouse, of Stevens Point, became the bride of Webster Durfee of Saginaw, Mich. The ceremony was performed at St. Mary’s rectory at Saginaw Saturday afternoon, May 16, at 3:00 o’clock.
For her wedding costume the bride chose a waffle pique two-piece dress in white, with an off the face white hat and white accessories. She carried an arm bouquet of ivory colored roses, white snapdragons and blue forget-me-nots. Her two sisters were her attendants. Miss Alice Rouse, maid of honor, wore a cinnamon shade suit and beige accessories, while Miss Marion Rouse, bridesmaid, wore an aqua suit with navy blue accessories. Both had corsage bouquets of roses.
Maurice Durfee was best man for his brother, and William Jordan was usher. Both are from Chesaning.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the new apartment of the bride and groom at 1023 South Weedock, Saginaw, Mich.
