Sill, Arnold (18 Apr. 1905 - 6 June 1942)
Military honors were accorded Arnold Sill at the funeral services held Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. A. C. Riley conducted the rites at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, at 1:30 and at 2:00 o’clock at the Methodist church. Burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.
Mr. Sill was born in Colby, April 18, 1905. His mother died during his infancy and he was reared in the home of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Biell. He was formerly a member of the National Guard unit of Abbotsford, Wis.
On July 8, 1929, he was married to Viola Schroeder, Curtiss. Cancer and other complications, which included a heart attack, caused his death at his home Saturday night, after a year’s illness.
Surviving him are his widow and two children, Betty, 12, and Robert, 11. His father, Frank Sill, also survives.
