Lutz, Marion Henrietta (Marriage - 18 Sept. 1942)

Wearing a frosty blue suit with harmonizing accessories and a corsage of white roses and hyacinths, Miss Marion Henrietta Lutz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.G. Lutz, Curtiss, became the bride of Kenneth Herrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Herrick, also of Curtiss, in an 8:15 ceremony performed on Friday, Sept. 18, at the home of the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Herrin, Wisconsin Rapids. The Rev. F.W. Ludwig, Stevens Point, read the nuptials before the immediate relatives in the flower decorated room.

Mr. and Mrs. Herrin were the attendants. Mrs. Herrin was attired in a tan suit and wore a corsage of pink roses and white hyacinths.

Mrs. Herrick attended the Medford high school until her senior year, when she transferred and was graduated from the Owen High School. She then attended the Wood county Normal school and the Taylor county Normal school, and at present teaches at the Maplewood School at Unity, Wis. The groom, a graduate of the Owen high school, is employed as a cheesemaker by the Laabs’ Cheese company in Curtiss.

The couple will reside with the bride’s parents.

Guests from away included Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Lutz and Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Herrick and daughter, Gwen, Curtiss; Grant Herrick, Jr., Columbus; Mr. and Mrs. Olin Fox and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Giesse, Stevens Point.
