Sebold, Joyce Adeline (Marriage - 14 Nov. 1942)
Miss Joyce Adeline Sebold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sebold, Dorchester, and Donald W. Moberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moberg, Abbotsford, exchanged marriage vows, Saturday morning before an 8 o’clock nuptial high mass in St. Patrick’s church in Eau Claire. The Rev. C. Edward officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride was attired in white velveray satin fashioned with a train. Her gown was accentuated by a plain gold cross and chain. A seed pearl tiara held her finger tip veil and Talisman roses made up her arm bouquet.
Attending the bridal couple were her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sebold, Dorchester, Wis. Mrs. Sebold was dressed in blue taffeta with pink accessories and wore a corsage of Talisman roses.
A wedding dinner was served at the Eau Claire café for the immediate relatives and a few close friends. Mrs. H. F. Moberg and children, Carol, Bob and ? of Abbotsford, were among the guests present.
In the evening a wedding dance was held at the Community hall at Dorchester, Wis.
Mr. and Mrs. Moberg are now at home to their friends at 437 Union St., Eau Claire, where both are employed in a defense plant. The bride is a graduate of the Dorchester high school, class of 1942 and the groom of the Abbotsford high school, class of 1939.
