Siegert, Grace Amelia (Marriage - 8 Mar. 1943)

Miss Grace Amelia Siegert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Siegert, Dorchester, became the bride of Frank A. Duellman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Duellman, Abbotsford, in a ceremony perfomed in St. Louis’ Catholic Church, Dorchester, Monday, March 8, at 9:00 a.m. The Rev. Phillip T. Weller officiated and the children’s choir sang the Mass.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown made with a sweetheart neck line and a bouffant skirt ending in a long train. Lace insertions on the dress matched the border of her finger tip veil caught up to a seed pearl head dress. Her sister, Miss Loretta Siegert, wore a pink taffeta dress fashioned with a full skirt, sweetheart neckline, and short, puffed sleeves and a matching head dress of rosebuds and pink net. The bride’s bouquet was pink roses and her sister’s, roses and carnations.

Paul Duellman, a brother, of Abbotsford attended the groom.

Mrs. Siegert, the bride’s mother, was attired in a blue ensemble and Mrs. Duellman in black. Both wore corsages of sweet peas.

Breakfast for the bridal party and dinner, supper, and a reception for the immediate relatives were held at the home of the bride’s parents, which was decorated with pink and white streamers and wedding bells, for the occasion. Later a dance was held at the Dorchester recreation hall.

After March 15 the couple will be at home to friends at Abbotsford, where the groom is employed as a truck driver.

Bub and family, Milan; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hollman and family, Dorchester, Wis.
