Blake, Mildred (Marriage - 15 May 1943)
Miss Mildred Blake, of Eau Claire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blake, of Marshfield, and Ronald R. Volier, of Eau Claire, were united in marriage in a candle light service at Christ Episcopal church at Chippewa Falls, Saturday evening at 8:00 o’clock.
The bride was attired in a gold tailleur with brown accessories and a shoulder corsage of Talisman roses.
Her sister, Miss Vera Blake, Marshfield, wore a soft blue suit with navy accessories and a corsage of American beauty roses.
A. R. Gunnison of Eau Claire was best man.
The bride is a graduate of the Eau Claire Business college and had been employed at the Neuheisel Lime Co. office the past year. The groom is manager of the War Production board office at Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blake, their daughter, Vera, of Marshfield, and another daughter, Mrs. Joyce Lord, of Eau Claire, were among the guests at the wedding.
The Blakes were former residents of Abbotsford, Wis.
